Choreography: Valentin Alfery

The most recent work of the dance company Hungry Sharks is a choreographed jigsaw puzzle with components of Urban Dance. The audience is invited to join an adventure trip that is looking for mutual interrelationships. By repeating the same movement sequences again and again, the twelve dancers create space for interpretation regarding human encounters and social changes. The idea for the piece originates from the production "Nein Naus" by VADA. Loosely based on motifs from the Oscar-winning 1980 short film Tango by Zbigniew Rybczynski, the piece evolves along moments of dance with intention to unveil the importance of impulses from our fellow humans and thus tangible for the audience.
