FRAGILAND focuses on an understanding of the fragility inherent in all living creatures. The performers assert their individual point of views in an effort to avoid the ever-present risk of collapse. As a result, each one emerges as a moving island. In their combined effort to open up to one another, they ask themselves whether or not they are in danger of disappearing, dissolving – islands becoming inundated. In FRAGILAND, four choreographers from four different countries explore themes of fragility, racial stress, desire, and cliché.
