Through eloquent dance, conversation and song, an exceptional cast of seven engage their audience in an intimate celebration of language and experience. OF LAND AND TONGUE, staged at unconventional venues and set to live music, is performed for an audience of 60 and draws upon a series of words from other cultures that elude direct translation into English. The unnoticed is articulated and the deeply familiar is illuminated, inviting the audience to consider the shifting relations between what can be said with words and what is experienced with the body.
