A Complementary Set_Disappearing with an Impact
Choreography: Minsun Choi, Jinan Kang
Choreographers and performers Minsun Choi und Jinan Kang together with video artist Taekyung Kim transform the stage into an experimental set-up. The trio plays with our sense of vision: Can we trust what we see? The live performance with footage recorded on stage creates an optical illusion in the space between what is seen and unseen. What changes in the shift from three to two dimensions? A Complementary Set_Disappearing with an Impact is a captivating and often funny game which plays with the audience’s perception, with past and present, and calls into question what has disappeared and what exists.
