BOXED
Choreography: Simone Wierød
In BOXED, the audience becomes part of a living sculpture in an urban environment. Through instructions given via headphones, the participating audience will be a part of a larger choreographic system, moving objects, creating formations, and shaping the space between each other. The work is a reflection on what kind of systems we take part in in society – practically, socially, politically, and personally – and what kind of rules and dynamics that requires. The work is central to Wired Studio’s artistic mission of exploring how choreography serves as a vehicle to engage with contemporary societal issues.
