Artistic director Michelle Ryan and creative producer Roz Hervey will share Restless Dance Theatre’s unique work practice with artists with and without disability, giving an outline of their current touring work and an insight into their 5-year artistic plan. The company’s working process is collectively devised with a directorial eye. Through the setting of specifically designed tasks they aim to give physical form to emotional truths. Restless Dance Theatre aims to empower dancers to explore their lived experience of disability, which in turn informs the work, with humour, warmth, and searing honesty. Michelle Ryan and Roz Hervey pride themselves on finding unique ways to tell authentic stories informed by disability through dance theatre.
