Crip Connections

We invite D/deaf, disabled, neurodivergent artists and producers to join us for Crip* Connections. Hosted by artist Dan Daw, with support from Anita Clark (from The Work Room, Scotland), this Meet-Up is a chance to spend some “Crip time” alongside one another in solidarity; sharing experience, challenges, spoons and joy!

• Crip: Many self-identifying disabled people, particularly in arts and activism, have reclaimed “Crip’” as a term of solidarity, community and resistance to ableism; conveying shared understanding, celebration and appreciation of what it is to live in the world as a disabled person. This is the intention with which we use it here.
