THUNDERBIRD'S TRANSFORMATION
Choreography: B. Solomon
Artist Brian Solomon is of Anishinaabe and Irish origins, born in the remote community of Shebahonaning, located in the Manitoulin district of Northern Ontario, Canada. His work is multidisciplinary, raw, challenging and present. THUNDERBIRD’S TRANSFORMATION is a story of someone with ancient blood living in an urban landscape, answering the call of the land he comes from:
a man is awakened from his sedentary ways and days.
on his way home from the telemarketing office, he is half transformed into a thunderbird.
through space and time, he travels thirteen thousand moons back to where it all began.
