My Body My Nation is an exhilarating multidisciplinary solo performance which is an attempt to decolonize the singular physical body. This physical pursuit involves disconnecting from taught and imposed philosophies, with an eye to liberating the authentic self and creating a unique physical space for it. Through a queer-racial-political lens, Israel Aloni takes on a retrospective look into a personal and artistic journey.They delayer the physical body and examine it as a biological landscape to which the person is indigenous.
