LIQUID SILVER: Sanctuary is an immersive dance performance developed for various site-specific environments including public parks, places of worship, and community spaces. The work draws on the inspiration of the location and community in which it is presented. Leading audiences on a journey of sound and movement through the performance site, this production encourages a change of perspective and engagement with the environment. The work features original sound scores by the composers Caroline Partamian and Donald Knaack, and costume design by Ashley O’Brien. The elements of sound, movement and visuals conjoin and thus blur the lines between the ordinary and the heavenly, creating a space where the mundane can become transformative.
