MELLEMRUM – a performative site- and community specific walk

The MELLEMRUM (Danish for “interspace”) walks invite audiences to experience a specific area from new angles. Moving through known and unknown places to a number of site-specific performances and interventions, the audiences are offered the chance to experience everyday surroundings through a performative lens – to rediscover the extraordinary in the ordinary. All projects are created through a close dialogue between the residents and artists (local as well as national/international). In this Pitching at Tanzmesse, choreographer Kitt Johnson will introduce you to the concept, the philosophy and the methodology behind MELLEMRUM.
