Caribbean Focus Forum

Welcome to “The Caribbean”! Cuba and Martinique (French Antilles) belong to this region which consists of more than 700 islands and reefs. The Focus Forum opens with the performance HYSTERIA by choreographer and dancer Annabel Guérédrat (30 min), followed by a brief introduction to the work of both Agnes Dru (Compagnie AD, Martinique), and Susana Pous (MiCompania, Cuba). A discussion with the artists on the specific conditions of working in this part of the world complements the Focus Forum, also addressing the challenges and strategies to survive in a global dance market.
