The National Ballet of Kosovo, the youngest classical ballet company in the Balkan region, emerges from a country that is politically and demographically young. The company, which is at a turning point in its development and is opening up to different aesthetics, seeks to gain importance in the European cultural landscape. To achieve this aim the National Ballet of Kosovo is supported by the EU programme Culture for All. The objective of the programme is to strengthening the cultural sector as vector of the economic development. This T-Talk will examine how the company is tackling this goal and what are the challenges oft he commitment of the EU in Kosovo.
