Is there a parallel between the image of the Japanese Rōnin, the abandoned and homeless Samurai warrior, and the reality of an immigration society like Germany? What makes people radicalise when they search for identity? Takao Baba's new production Rōnin – Made in Germany deals with the feeling of belonging somewhere and the gap between solidarity and extremism.
