Raimund Hoghe. Writing with Words and Bodies

The Düsseldorf choreographer Raimund Hoghe has a number of publications to his credit. He has worked as an author and journalist, and amongst his books are two about the work of Pina Bausch whose dramaturg he was before he began to choreograph his own performance 20 years ago. A special feel for effect and representation is necessary when using words and photos. To what extent do the tasks differ between writing a book about dance and working on choreography?
