25 years in half an hour. Shobana Jeyasingh will use live excerpts to outline themes and ideas from her unique career. And in doing so she will give the audience insights into the work on her latest creation for the Royal Ballet Studio London. Her contemporary adaptation of the “Temple Dancer” by Marius Petipa throws a spotlight on Westerners’ fascination with the myths of the orient.
