Sustainability Policy

With this sustainability policy, internationale tanzmesse nrw recognizes and addresses the environmental impacts associated with facilitating an international platform and network meeting. Our ambition is to commit to systematically reduce the environmental and climate impacts of our organisation and activities.

It is our goal to strengthen the sustainable development of the international dance ecosystem as well as creating awareness for sustainable and responsible actions. Given the international dimension of Tanzmesse, we consider the different ecological, economic, cultural and social situation of the professionals participating in Tanzmesse.

AIMS

• Minimizing our carbon footprint whenever possible
• Raising awareness for the issue of climate change and climate justice
• Encouraging sustainable actions of our participants
• Developing sustainable cooperation with our partners and facilitating sustainable collaborations among the participants
• Mobility: Raising awareness of greenhouse gas emissions due to travelling and encouraging green mobility as well as a more sustainable travel planning
