Laura Fishers Praxis ist im erweiterten Feld des Tanzes verwurzelt, aber die Form ihrer Arbeit ist vielfältig und multidisziplinär. Im Mittelpunkt ihrer Praxis stehen Fragen rund um den Raum: Wer nimmt ihn ein? Für wen ist er zugänglich? Wer ist sichtbar? Wie erleben Sie/wir die Bewegung durch ihn? Ihre Arbeit FORGED (in the tender heat of your embrace) ist eine Performance-Dauerinstallation für Galerieräume und eine intime, choreografische Zusammenarbeit zwischen einer behinderten Tänzerin und Kupferblech, die Prozesse der (Körper-) Wärmeerzeugung und des Wärmeaustauschs während der Bewegung und der Ruhe erforscht.
